Mega Business Group to introduce CHTC Motors’ electric vans in Nepali market

KATHMANDU, April 8: Mega Business Group Pvt Ltd has signed an agreement with China Hi-Tech Off-Road Vehicle Company (CHTC Motors), a renowned global vehicle manufacturer, to serve as the company’s exclusive distributor for Nepal.

KATHMANDU, April 8: Mega Business Group Pvt Ltd has signed an agreement with China Hi-Tech Off-Road Vehicle Company (CHTC Motors), a renowned global vehicle manufacturer, to serve as the company’s exclusive distributor for Nepal.


CHTC Motors is a subsidiary of China’s state-owned Sinomach Group which specializes in the research, development, production, and sales of new energy vehicles and their core components. It is one of the prestigious companies under the Fortune 500 list.

According to a press release issued by the company, Mega Business Group Pvt Ltd has become the sole authorized distributor for electric 11-seater and 14-seater vans, and other commercial vehicles manufactured by CHTC Motors. As Nepal’s transport sector transitions towards electrification, the introduction of comfortable EV vans will be environmentally-friendly and excellent for the passenger transport business.


In addition, CHTC Motors electric vans will make a significant contribution in reducing carbon emissions, reads the statement. As mentioned in the press release, the van will be available in the Nepali market from the end of April 2024.
