Minister Bhusal urges private sector to help in building prosperous Nepal

KATHMANDU, April 8: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal has urged the private sector to help build a prosperous Nepal while remaining committed to socialism based on democratic values.

KATHMANDU, April 8: Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal has urged the private sector to help build a prosperous Nepal while remaining committed to socialism based on democratic values.


Inaugurating the second annual general assembly of the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce on Thursday, she recalled that the goal was to achieve economic development of the country through the support of the three pillars of the economy- public, private and cooperative.

Appreciating the contribution made by the Chamber of Commerce to the economic development of the country, Minister Bhusal said, "The contribution made by the Chamber to the economy is commendable."


She said she felt it would be appropriate for the private sector to make a significant contribution to the country's economy. Minister Bhusal expressed her belief that no matter how many private sector organizations there are, they will increase their activities by coordinating with each other for the economic development of the country.


On the occasion, Chairman of Nepal Chamber of Commerce, Rajendra Malla expressed confidence that the government would address the problems of the private sector and move forward in the coming days by continuously collaborating with the government. Pushparatna Shakya, chairman of the Lalitpur Chamber of Commerce, demanded that the chamber be represented in local and central government units.
