Saying the construction company has not forwarded the construction activities so far even after extending the deadline, the ministry canceled the contract and decided to blacklist the construction company for three years.

Minister for Physical Infrastructure Development, Yubraj Dulal, said the contract was scrapped after the construction company failed to complete the construction of the bridge even after extending the deadlines time and again.

There was no alternative to canceling the contract after the work progress of the construction company was not satisfactory as well as it remained absent from the meeting called by the ministry. The estimated cost for the construction of the bridge is Rs 53.79 million.
