NAWALPARASI, Jan 9: A girl who had gone missing in Nawalparasi-west for the past 10 days was found dead in Gandak canal.
Geeta Harijan, 15, of Susta Rural Municipality-2, Kudiya was found dead in Indian area of Gandak canal. She went missing on December 30.

According to the District Police Office,, Nawalparasi, her dead body was found nearby Surajpura Power Production House in the western part of the canal.
Police investigation into the incident is underway. Her dead body was sent to Prithvi Chandra Hospital, Parasi for post-mortem, informed Area Police Office, Belatari.
