Mobile banking available for monetary offerings to Muktinath Temple

BALEWA, June 2: Arrangements are in place for making monetary offerings to the  Muktinath Temple in Mustang district via  a digital system. 


Prabhu Bank has ensured a QR code service to deposit the offerings through the banking system.

With the availability of online facilities to donate money to the temple, devotees have access to a digital networking which is claimed to be easier to use for making the monetary offerings.    


Prabhu Bank and Fone Pay, a mobile payment facility, have joined hands to launch the service, according to the bank’s Gandaki Province chief Raju Rana. 


The service is expected to contribute to increasing the lifespan of bank notes.
