KATHMANDU, Oct 11: More than 200 people in every 100,000 are likely to contract COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.

KATHMANDU, Oct 11: More than 200 people in every 100,000 are likely to contract COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley.


According to the threshold of Center of Disease Control and Prevention, 200 or more are likely to contract COVID-19 in the Valley out of every 100,000 people.

The Kathmandu Valley witnessed 1,416 cases of COVID-19 while 2,071 cases were recorded across the country on Sunday.


Similarly, Mugu, Bajura, Solukhumbu, Panchthar, Jajarkot, Manang and Mustang are the districts with the lowest risk of COVID-19 transmission. Five in every 100,000 people are likely to be diagnosed with COVID-19 in these districts.
