More than 300 penalized for traffic rule violation in Melamchi

Melamchi, March 5: The authorities in Melamchi of Sindhupalchowk district have raised Rs 280,000 as part of the fine slapped on traffic rule violators.

In the past two months more than 300 vehicles without necessary documents, vehicles carrying overload of passengers and those driving under the influence were penalized and the revenue raised, said Inspector, Navaraj Dhungana, of Area Police Office, Melamchi. 


During the regular checking, police in Melamchi also detained two persons along with two stolen motorbikes. RSS
