NARAYANGHAT, April 15: Vehicular movement on the Narayanghat-Mugling road section which was obstructed for hours on Friday following dry landslide at Charkilo of Mugling, resumed after the debris was cleared.
Narayanghat-Mugling road reopens
According to Area Police Office, Mugling, passengers were stuck more than four hours starting from 9 am on Friday. This year, the Charkilo area is being hit by landslides frequently even before the arrival of the monsoon season.
According to Shiva Khanal, information officer for the Narayanghat-Mugling Road Project, Friday’s landslide was the third one in as many days. Vehicular movement on the road stretch was halted till 12 pm on Friday.
