KATHMANDU, Oct 6: A 35 years old man from Sindhupalchowk district was arrested on Monday on the charge of murdering a woman from Naya Basti, Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan city-14, a year and a half ago .
According to the Metropolitan Crime Division, Vinay Shrestha ( Vinay Maji) had killed 36- years-old Pampha Shrestha after keeping her in captivity at Kageshwari Manohara Municipality-9, Gothatar.

According to police investigation, Maji had taken her to his room and kept her captive there. He then killed her and ran away locking the door on May 19, 2019.
Maji has also been found using fake citizenship by the name of Som Bahadur Rai.
He has been taken to the Metropolitan Police Circle, New Baneshwar for further investigation.
