NAC aircraft avoids accident

RUKUM, Feb 7: An aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation bound for Rukum from Kathmandu has escaped an accident on Wednesday.

RUKUM, Feb 7: An aircraft of Nepal Airlines Corporation bound for Rukum from Kathmandu has escaped an accident on Wednesday.


The hydraulic pipe on the right wing of the aircraft suffered damage when it landed at Salle airport on Wednesday afternoon.

According to security officials, the aircraft would meet a big accident if the hydraulic pipe had burst in the air.


The aircraft with the Call Sign 9NABT had taken off at 10:55 am from Tribhuvan International Airport and landed at 12:10 pm at Salle airport.


There were 15 passengers on board the aircraft. They are safe.
