GULMI, June 13: Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) is going to start two flights a week from Resunga Airport in Gulmi. Previously, NAC only operated only one flight a week on Friday.
As regular air services are being started from Gulmi district, the number of passengers has increased significantly. Although the aircraft has a capacity of 18 seats, 60 to 70 passengers demanded seats from the district.
NAC to operate three flights a week from Resunga Airport
Khil Dhwaj Panthi, the mayor of Resunga Municipality, said that the added flight of Nepal Airlines is scheduled for Wednesdays. Now there will be two flights a week from Resunga Airport - on Wednesday and Friday.
The fare from Resunga Airport to Kathmandu has been fixed at Rs 6,300 per person. Similarly, a ticket price of Rs 6,500 has been determined for a Kathmandu-Resunga flight.
The flight schedule from Kathmandu to Resunga Airport is at 6:30AM and it is scheduled to return to Kathmandu from Resunga Airport at 7:45AM. The distance from Kathmandu to Resunga Airport is 50 minutes.
