KATHMANDU, Jan 19: A wide-body aircraft of the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has resumed its regular operations following maintenance on Thursday.
The aircraft had been grounded since last Monday. According to Ramesh Paudel, spokesperson for NAC, the aircraft was grounded due to issues with the flight control sensor.
Air service resumes at Rara Airport
The required aircraft parts were sourced from Britain. On Thursday, the aircraft departed for Dubai, carrying 267 passengers.
The NAC owns two narrow-body and two wide-body aircrafts for its international air services. One narrow-body aircraft has recently been sent to Israel for repair, it is said.
