National Assembly Chair Timilsina leaves Angola to attend IPU general assembly

KATHMANDU, Oct 22: National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina left for Angola on Saturday night leading a nine-member delegation to attend the 147th assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) to be held in Luanda on October 23-27.

KATHMANDU, Oct 22: National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timilsina left for Angola on Saturday night leading a nine-member delegation to attend the 147th assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) to be held in Luanda on October 23-27.


Timilsina is scheduled to address the IPU assembly on behalf of the federal parliament of Nepal, joint spokesperson of federal parliament secretariat, according to Dasharath Dhamala.

The delegation comprises National Assembly members duo, Jeetendra Narayan Dev and Kumar Dasaudi, House of Representatives members Ripasosi Chaudhary and Santosh Pariyar, federal parliament secretary Bharatraj Gautam, joint secretary Babita Mishra and Under-secretary Tribikram Parajuli among others.
