KATHMANDU, Sept 8: The meeting of the National Assembly which was called for 11AM on September 10 has been postponed until further notice.
The Parliament Secretariat stated that the date and time of the next meeting will be decided later by the chairman of the National Assembly, Ganesh Prasad Timilsina.
National Assembly meeting postponed for six days
Secretary General of the Parliament Secretariat, Bharat Raj Gautam, issued a statement and said that the chairman of the National Assembly has adjourned the meeting to be held at a date and time to be determined by another notice.
Currently, three bills are pending in the National Assembly. The Immigration Bill has been discussed in the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee and the report has been submitted to the Assembly. The bill related to electronic transactions and the bill related to national dignity are under discussion in the Legislative Management Committee.
