National Business Initiative summit kicks off from Thursday

KATHMANDU, August 3: The second summit of the National Business Initiative has kicked off in the capital from Thursday. The summit will hold discussions on measures to be implemented by the business people to make a civilized society through professional responsibly.

KATHMANDU, August 3: The second summit of the National Business Initiative has kicked off in the capital from Thursday. The summit will hold discussions on measures to be implemented by the business people to make a civilized society through professional responsibly. 


Tribhuvan University and Kathmandu University are facilitating the programme where over a dozen business companies are the partners.

Speaking in the program, KU vice chancellor Prof Dr Ram Kantha Makaju Shrestha expected harmony between business groups and government to make responsible business and society. He stressed on a strong determination and social responsibility for success. 


The Initiative chairman Padma Jyoti shared that the summit will be useful to better the society by underlining the business responsibility. He added that the current phase was the phase of responsibility rather than rights. 


Similarly, vice chair at the organization Kush Kumar Joshi said that the summit will motivate business people to be responsible for better society and underlining the importance of business skill and investment. 


Sixteen working papers from different renowned business persons will be presented in two-day summit. 


Various business organizations from Nepal, India, China, and Singapore are attending the summit. RSS
