NC concentrated to empower Madhes: NC Prez Deuba

BIRGUNJ, Sept 15: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the NC would leave no stone unturned to empower the Madhesi people with rights by amending constitution.

BIRGUNJ, Sept 15: Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said the NC would leave no stone unturned to empower the Madhesi people with rights by amending constitution. 


Addressing an election assembly the party organized at Ratobangala Chour of Birgunj today, NC President Deuba urged people to make the NC victorious in the election scheduled in Province No 2 on September 18 as the local-level election is related to rights of Madhesi people.

He expressed commitment for overall development of Birgunj, as Birgunj, the economic town of Province No 2, is the main entrance of the country. 


Similarly, NC General Secretary Dr Shashanka Koirala stressed that the NC should emerge victorious in the election to ensure rights of Madhesi people by amending constitution and to make a prosperous country. RSS
