KATHMANDU, Dec 16: The Central Working Committee meeting of the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) scheduled for Monday afternoon has been put off yet again owing the absence of party’s senior leader Ram Chandra Poudel.
Talking to the media persons, party spokesperson Bishwo Prakash Sharma informed that the meeting has been postponed to 1 pm on Wednesday.

“All the disputes that are now being surfaced are natural and democratic. We are committed to settling them through consensus,” said Sharma.
The Poudel-led faction has been boycotting the meeting accusing the Deuba-led group of trying to increase the number of different departments of the party to 41 from 28 and derail the much-awaited 14th General Convention of the party.
Spokesperson Sharma, however, argued that party will move ahead on the basis of consensus and procedures as party president Sher Bahadur Deuba and senior leader Poudel have been holding a series of discussions to resolving their differences.
Congress CWC meeting has been postponed multiple times due to the intra-party disputes.
