A meeting of the party's Central Discipline Committee held on Saturday decided to expel them from the party over their failure to abide by the party's discipline. While Joshi and Ojha have been expelled from the party for five years, Bista has been expelled after their final clarification was found not satisfiable, according to a statement issued by the party.

The statement further said that the audio and video received by the Discipline Committee as evidence was against the party's statute.
