KATHMANDU, June 14: Nepali Congress (NC) has finalized its candidates for the second phase of local level elections scheduled for June 28 in all the remaining provinces except Province-2.
A central executive committee meeting of the party held in Sanepa today picked candidates in Province 1, 5 and 7 except Province-2.
The NC had finalized the names of candidates in Morang and Dang on Wednesday morning.

NC leaders have said that the executive committee meeting to be held at 11 am tomorrow will finalize the names of candidates in Province-2.
The NC today picked Bhim Parajuli and Indira Karki as mayor and deputy mayor in Biratnagar Metropolitan City respectively. Similarly, Shiva Prasad Dhakal and Binda Dahal Thapa have been chosen as mayor and deputy mayor of Sundar Haraincha Municipality, Modraj Ghimire and Radhika Devi Mandal in Rangeli Municipality while Ganesh Kumar Khadka and Premala Rai in Pathari Sanishware Municipality.
Likewise, Rabin Rai and Phalawati Godi have been nominated in Ratnamai Municipality.
Hari Lal Singh and Nasima Banu in Dhanpalthan Rural Municipality, Krishna Kumar Shardar Tharu and Jaimala Shardar Tharu in Gramthan, Ram Kumar Kamat and Manjita Shardar in Katahari and Jitnarayan Tama Magar and Genawati Devi Chaudhari have been nominated in Budhiganga.
Similarly, NC has picked Bhupu Bahadur Danagi and Pushpa Shrestha have been chosen in Ghorai of Dang, Gehendra Giri and Debika Nepali Regmi in Tulsipur and Jog Raj Chaudhari and Debaka Belbase in Lamahi.
Likewise, Lok Raj KC and Dhanapati have been chosen as candidates in Rajpur, Shreepath Chaudhari and Shakuntala DC in Gadwa, Numanand Subedi and Jagadamba Chaudhary in Rapti while Bheshraj Khatri and Nirmala Khanal have been chosen as candidates for Bagalachuri.
