KATHMANDU, Dec 11: The 14th general convention of the Nepali Congress (NC) has made the streets of Kathmandu colorful. Multiple banners have been hung around the city, bearing the faces of various representatives and candidates for the post of the party’s new central working committee.
The venue for the convention is Bhrikutimandap and the area around Ratnapark, which is adjacent to the venue, is covered with banners and pictures of various NC leaders. The banners and posters along with slogans of various leaders are seen hung in the area, giving the glimpse of the competition for the election.

Similarly, banners of the candidates for the post of central members to the president are hung across the sky bridges as well as the walls around the city.
