BHAKTAPUR, Sept 14: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa has expressed his concern over the underrepresentation of women in the government.
In his address to a programme in Bhaktapur on Wednesday, the leader said women's 33 percent participation in the government should be mandated by law as in the parliament. He urged the women community to unite and advocate for their rights and seek their rightful positions in all forums, including the government.

On the occasion, the former Minister also took time to express his concern over the growing job crisis in the domestic labor market, adding that the government should take efforts to address the issue seriously.
