KATHMANDU, June 24: Nepali Congress leader Bikash Lama passed away.
Former President of Sindhupalchok district, Lama died at Bir Hospital during treatment. He was suffering from cancer.

He was suffering from blood cancer and returned to Nepal after receiving treatment from Thailand some time ago.
In the 14th NC Convention, Lama was a candidate for joint general secretary from the establishment faction. However, he was defeated.
Lama's wife passed away only last year.
