NC, Maoist Center discuss allocation of vacant seats of National Assembly members

KATHMANDU, Jan 2: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) have initiated discussions regarding the allocation of vacant seats in the National Assembly.

KATHMANDU, Jan 2: The ruling Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Center) have initiated discussions regarding the allocation of vacant seats in the National Assembly. 


This comes ahead of the January 25 elections to fill the 20 vacant seats of National Assembly members.

The top NC leaders have reached the Prime Minister's residence in Baluwatar for the discussions. 


NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba, Vice President Purna Bahadur Khadka, General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa, Chief Whip Ramesh Lekhak are participating in the meeting with the Maoist leaders including Prime Minister Dahal.
