During a meeting at his residence in Dhumbarahi on Tuesday morning, President Deuba proposed giving the vote of confidence to PM Dahal. However, the NC leaders present at the meeting were unable to reach a consensus on this.
The leaders, who were against giving the vote of confidence to Prime Minister Dahal, demanded that the decision on this issue be taken by the party’s Central Working Committee (CWC) meeting. Since it is impossible to hold a CWC meeting immediately, a meeting of the party’s office bearers has been called for discussions.
