KATHMANDU, March 20: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP)'s Chairman Rajendra Prasad Lingden has said the party would not be giving a vote of confidence to Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

During the deliberations on a proposal put forth by the Prime Minister before the House today seeking the vote of confidence, the leader said the party had quit the government led by Dahal recently and it was not in a position to back him.
He said the prime minister made a U-turn even without informing the then ruling alliance when there were collective promises for unity and cooperation for the cause of development, prosperity and good governance.
