KATHMANDU, Nov 23: Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba on Friday expressed grief over the loss of lives in two recent road accidents in Dadeldhura and Darchula.
In a press statement, Deuba has paid tribute to those who lost their lives in the road mishaps while expressing deep condolence to the victim’s family members. The NC president has also expressed wishes for the speedy recovery of those injured.
At least 18 people were killed and 27 sustained injuries when a bus skidded off the highway and plunged down the river at Amargadhi municipality in Dadeldhura on Thursday evening. Similarly, two persons were killed and 19 injured in a minibus accident in Darchula on Friday morning.
