NC's CWC meeting being held today

KATHMANDU, July 7: The Central Working Committee meeting of the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) is taking place on Sunday afternoon.

KATHMANDU, July 7: The Central Working Committee meeting of the main opposition Nepali Congress (NC) is taking place on Sunday afternoon.


The CWC meeting is scheduled to be held at 2 pm at the party headquarters, Sanepa. During the meeting, President Sher Bahadur Deuba is expected to speak on the NC's general convention which hasn't been held for long.

According to NC leaders, the meeting will also hold deliberations on the finalization of the party's internal regulation. Other issues likely to be figured out in the meeting are; distribution of party membership and settle disputes over party's sister wings and public relations committees abroad.


The meeting will review the first phase of a nation-wide public awareness campaign which was concluded recently. The CWC meeting will also discuss the preparations for the second phase of NC's public awareness campaign being launched soon, according to the leaders.
