KATHMANDU, Aug 9: The meetings of three parliamentary committees are scheduled for today. A meeting of the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee has been scheduled to be held at 11 AM.
Four parliamentary committees holding meeting today
The meeting will hold a discussion on the report of the sub-committees formed with monitoring the condition of the human rights of the children correction homes of Nepal and the prisoners and detainees in the prisons of Nepal. Similarly, a meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee is scheduled for 1PM. The meeting will hold a discussion on the amendment to the School Education Bill, 2023.
Likewise, a meeting of the Committee for Legislation Management is scheduled to be held at 11:30 AM and the draft of the annual report of the committee will be discussed in this meeting. Similarly, a meeting of the Infrastructure Development Committee has been scheduled for 11 AM and there is an agenda for weekly discussion along with the amendments to the Water Resources Bill, 2024.
