NC’s Gagan Thapa and Krishna Sitaula reach Baluwatar to discuss current affairs with PM

KATHMANDU, April 9: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa and National Assembly member Krishna Prasad Sitaula have reached Baluwatar to engage in discussions with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal.

KATHMANDU, April 9: Nepali Congress (NC) General Secretary Gagan Kumar Thapa and National Assembly member Krishna Prasad Sitaula have reached Baluwatar to engage in discussions with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal. The Prime Minister has convened a meeting with the Nepali Congress leaders to discuss current affairs including the matters related to the upcoming session of the House of Representatives.

PM Dahal called Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba for a meeting. In response, President Deuba sent Sitaula along with General Secretary Thapa to represent the party.


The meeting of the House of Representatives is scheduled for today. However, the Nepali Congress has warned that the meeting will not be allowed to proceed unless a parliamentary panel is formed to investigate Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane.
