NC to conduct training for general convention representatives

Kathmandu, July 21: The Nepali Congress (NC) is to conduct training for the party general convention representatives from all seven states.


A meeting of the party's Central Policy, Research, and Training Academy agreed to organize the two-day training at 12 parts of seven states from coming August 1.

The meeting presided over by NC Vice President and Academy Chief Bimalendra Nidhi also formed the Academy's basic curriculum development committee under the convenorship of Dr. Jagdish Chandra Pokhrel, said NC Central Office secretary Mukti Aryal. Dr. Arzoo Deuba, Harihar Birahi, Raju Nepal and Prashish Mahara are the members of the committee. The meeting also formed a guideline formulation committee under the convenorship of Taranath Dahal. The committee comprises Bhadra Parajuli and Ramji Kangren as members.


Similarly, the Resource Management Committee formed under the coordination of Khilanath Dahal includes Subash Pokharel, Dr. Prabhu Budhathoki, Bhadra Parajuli Bhandari, Kamala Lamichhane, Bhagirath Poddar and Yogaraj Sharma Kandel.


The meeting agreed to organize the national training program of Chairs and Vice-Chairs (elected from the party) of rural municipalities by August 17.
