KATHMANDU, July 28: In order to strengthen the party organization, the Nepali Congress (NC) is going to appoint central members in all 77 districts. Central members are going to be appointed to the districts in two phases.
According to the decision of the party central committee, the program to be held in two stages has different natures and objectives. For the internal organizational strengthening of the party and the nationwide campaign, central members are going to be given responsibility by assigning districts.
The time from August 5 to August 15 has been fixed for organizational strengthening. During this period, the central members will be responsible for the internal work of the party.

In the first stage, the central members going to the districts will work for the internal structure of the party. "If there is an incomplete working committee, all the structures will be completed," said General Secretary Gagan Thapa.
The central members will also be responsible for making an annual calendar like the one made at the center. The central members will undertake the task of giving the fraternal organizations, well researched organizations and departments a complete shape. The new active membership distribution, renewal, providing information about online systems and implementation will be carried out," said General Secretary Thapa.
The Central Committee decided to form a 'Service Team' in each village or municipal committee. The representative of the service team sent to the districts will be from the center. According to that, the central members will facilitate the start of the process of formation of the service team. Central members will play a role in solving the problems in the internal structure due to disputes within the party.
The second phase of the campaign is scheduled from August 27 to September 10. The second phase is called a community-based 'nationwide campaign'. "The central members will have to talk directly with the citizens and listen to their grievances," said General Secretary Thapa.
