KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Purna Bahadur Khadka, vice-president  of Nepali Congress (NC), has said that the date of the presidential election should be fixed.

Today, he tweeted on his social network Twitter and wrote that the presidential election should be held before March 12. Today, he said in his Twitter handle, “Don't think left or right, it will be preferable for the dignity of the constitutional institution to get out of the circle of doubt that has appeared on this issue in time by announcing the date of the presidential election by the Election Commission to be completed before March 12.”


The recent decision of the Nepali Congress office-bearers meeting was also to nominate the candidate from the party for the presidential election and to prepare in a united manner. Also, the Nepali Congress drew the attention of the Election Commission and the government to fix the presidential election date and resolve any legal problems in time.
