KATHMANDU, April 13: Spokesperson of the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Narayan Kaji Shrestha, who is also the member of National Assembly, has pledged to donate his one-year salary to the corona prevention and control fund set up by the government and relief package.
“Of my payment as an NA member, 2-month salary will be for government fund while the rest of amount will be for the relief packages for the economically backward people who are hit hard by this pandemic situation,” he said.

Taking it to Twitter on Monday, leader Shrestha said that everyone should stand together and perform their roles at this time of global crisis.
As of Sunday, a total of Rs 1,986,776,760 has been collected in the coronavirus infection prevention, control and treatment fund, according to the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
