Police arrest six suspects in connection with Nakhkhu bomb explosion

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Police have arrested six suspects in connection with Friday's bomb explosion outside the corporate office of mobile phone operator Ncell at Nakhkhu in Lalitpur.

KATHMANDU, Feb 23: Police have arrested six suspects in connection with Friday's bomb explosion outside the corporate office of mobile phone operator Ncell at Nakhkhu in Lalitpur.


Talking to Republica Online on Saturday, Nepal Police Spokesperson SSP Uttam Raj Subedi said that a special squad of the police was deployed immediately after the explosion. "The special squad has been investigating into the incident," he said.

He also vowed to launch investigation and bring book those involved in the bomb explosions in various parts of the country on Friday.


Three persons were injured when an unidentified group detonated a bomb with the intention of blowing off the Ncell mobile tower at Nakhkhu, Lalitpur on Friday night.  Singh Bahadur Gurung, one of the injured of the incident, breathed his last during treatment on Saturday morning.
