KATHMANDU, April 28: Nepal recorded 15 new cases of COVID-19 along with 18 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Thursday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 5,875 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, 15 PCR tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 249 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 245 are in self-isolation, and one in institutional isolation. Similarly, four people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded 10 cases of COVID-19 on the day. Of them, nine cases were recorded in Kathmandu while one was recorded in Lalitpur districts.
