KATHMANDU, April 14: Nepal recorded four new cases of COVID-19 along with 44 recoveries and zero death from the virus on Thursday, according to the information released by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP).
As many as 3,342 swab samples were tested for COVID-19 on the day. Of them, three PCR and one antigen tests turned out to be positive for the virus.

There are currently 492 active cases of COVID-19 across the country. Among them, 455 are in self-isolation, 24 in institutional isolation, 12 in ICUs and one on ventilator. Similarly, 106 people are currently in quarantine facilities. So far, 11,951 people have died from the virus across the country.
Meanwhile, the Kathmandu Valley recorded only one case of COVID-19 on Thursday, which was recorded in Kathmandu district.
