KATHMANDU, May 1: The government has confirmed 19 new cases of Covid-19 and 64 recoveries on Monday. The latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) says that 19 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours.
According to the MoHP, 375 swab samples were tested during this period. Out of 375 PCR tests, 19 people tested positive for the virus through while the data of antigen tests as of 24 hours has not been received by the ministry. As a result, there were a total of 19 people who tested positive for the virus.

Similarly, the number of active cases of coronavirus has reached 283, while 32 people are in isolation, 11 in ICU and one person is receiving ventilator support.
With the increase in infection rate, MoHP has asked everyone to administer booster doses against Covid-19.
