Nepal records 60 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday

KATHMANDU, April 30: The government has confirmed 60 new cases of Covid-19 and 55 recoveries on Sunday. The latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) says that 60 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours.

KATHMANDU, April 30: The government has confirmed 60 new cases of Covid-19 and 55 recoveries on Sunday. The latest bulletin issued by the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) says that 60 people were infected with the virus in the last 24 hours.


According to the MoHP, 1,473 swab samples were tested during this period. Among them, 22 people out of 272 tested positive for the virus through PCR test while 38 people were found to be infected with Covid-19 out of 1201 people through antigen tests. As a result, there were a total of 60 people who tested positive for the virus.

Similarly, the number of active cases of coronavirus has reached 328, while 28 people are in isolation, nine in ICU and one person is receiving ventilator support.


With the increase in infection rate, MoHP has asked everyone to administer booster doses against Covid-19.
