KATHMANDU, August 26: Nepal has so far been able to secure 50.3 million doses of COVID-19, according to the Minister of State for Health and Population, Umesh Shrestha.
Addressing a meeting of the Education and Health Committee under the House of Representatives, State Minister Shrestha maintained that the government has already secured 50.3 million doses of COVID-19 vaccines.

“The government is currently administering COVID-19 vaccines to more than 300,000 people a day on average. We are planning to increase this number to 500,000 a day,” he added.
So far, as many as 4,013,880 people are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 which is 13 percent of the total population of the country, according to State Minister Shrestha.
