Nepal Telecom extends offer on voice and data packs

KATHMANDU, April 10: Nepal Telecom has extended its 'Stay Connected' offer for on voice and data packs till April 16 in line with the government's decision to extend the lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19.

KATHMANDU, April 10: Nepal Telecom has extended its 'Stay Connected' offer for on voice and data packs till April 16 in line with the government's decision to extend the lockdown to contain the spread of COVID-19.


Issuing a statement, the state-owned operator said its subscribers, under the offer, get 3 GB data in 4G network free on the purchase of 1 GB data costing Rs 100. The validity of the pack is five days.

Similarly, on purchase of 2 GB data pack costing Rs 200, NT subscribers will get 8 GB data in 4G network free of cost. The pack comes with validity of seven days. NT launched the offer as per the direction of the government to provide 25% discount on voice and data packs to provide some relief to customers during the lockdown.


Similarly, the operator has also decided to extend 50% discount on net voice call in GSM and CDMA networks. Under the offer, customers get 20 minutes talk time as bonus on purchase of 40 minutes day pack costing Rs 25.


Similarly, on purchase of 190 minutes voice pack having validity of seven days, NT customers get 95 minutes bonus. The pack is available for Rs 100. Similarly, NT is also providing discounts of 30% and 27% respectively on 'pay as you go' data in GSM and CDMA networks. NT is also giving 100% bonus on mobile top-up.
