KATHMANDU, Oct 8: ‘Nepal through Irish Eyes’, a photo exhibition started this Friday at Nepal Tourism Board, Exhibtion Road.


The exhibition, organized by Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) in association with Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), is a four-day-long exhibition showcasing the photographs of Nepal shot by the Irish photographers.

The pictures of the mountains are the highlight of the event. In addition to mountainous photographs, the exhibition also includes pictures of heritage sites and Irish Everest summiteers. The photo captions beneath each photo provide convenience for the viewers to understand the images better. 


Bal Bahadur Ghale, a visitor at the event, said that he was happy to know that Nepal is loved by foreigners. “I am from the hilly terrains of Gorkha. I have not had the privilege to experience the mountains. Exhibitions like this encourage me to travel and to see the beautiful mountains of our country,” he added.
