Nepal to face against Maldives in opening game of SAFF U15 Championship

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Nepal will face Maldives at 3 pm today in the opening match under the SAFF U-15 Championship 2018 at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato.

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Nepal will face Maldives at 3 pm today in the opening match under the SAFF U-15 Championship 2018 at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato.


Of the preparations for the match, Nepal's head coach Sanoj Shrestha said that the Nepali team is all ready for the competition. "Preparations are all underway. The players are in good form. We have high hope to become a champion," he said. Nepal is placed in Group 'A' alongside Bangladesh and Maldives, while India, Bhutan and Pakistan are in Group 'B'. Nepal will play its second match against Bangladesh on coming Saturday.

The Nepali team includes goalkeeper Roshan Nepal, Rohan Magar, Binaya Shrestha, Jan Limbu, Niwas Phuyal, Pramesh Gurung, Roshan Thapa, Srijan Dani, Rojit Pariyar, Sushil Adhikari, Pradip Lamsal, Managya Nakarmi, Dipesh Gurung, Prabin Magar, Rakesh BK, Shashanka Bohara, Nirajan Malla, Dhiraj Balayar, Namas Thapa, Sonam Gurung, Rohit Subba, Dipesh Rai and head coach Sanoj.
