KATHMANDU, August 25: The Nepali national cricket team, which is visiting Kenya for five Twenty20 and three ODI series, is playing the first Twenty20 match against the home team on Thursday (today) afternoon.
The game will start at 3:45 PM according to Nepali time. Before visiting Namibia under the World Cricket League-2, Nepal is going to play against Kenya to gain experience.

The Kenya tour by the Nepali team full of young and new players is seen as an exposure to the team, while it’s a test for the new Coach Manoj Prabhakar, who is on his first foreign tour as the coach of the Nepali cricket team. The Nepali team, which has arrived in Kenya for the five-match T-20 series, will be planning a smooth start today.
Nepal's cricket team captain Sandeep Lamichhane said in the pre-match conference held on Wednesday that the team's goal is to win all the matches. Kenya, ranked 30th, is seen as an easy opponent for Nepal. Nepal has defeated Kenya in the last two meetings. However, Kenya is also planning to get off to a good start by defeating Nepal.
