Nepali squad off to Thailand to play Asia U-14 Development Championship

KATHMANDU, Jan 5: A seven-member Nepali lawn tennis team has left here today for Bangkok, Thailand to participate in the Asia U-14 Development Championship.

KATHMANDU, Jan 5: A seven-member Nepali lawn tennis team has left here today for Bangkok, Thailand to participate in the Asia U-14 Development Championship. 


The tournament has been scheduled from January 6 to 18. The team comprises each three female and male players who will compete in single and double categories.

Sarbhani Shrestha, Shubhangi Laxmi Shah and Isha Shree Shah (female players); and Aarabh Samrat Hada, Aryan Giri and Chirag Timsina (male players) and coach Rameshwor Thapa are in the team. 


Nepal Lawn Tennis Association president Ms Jyoti Rana, general secretary Manohar Das Mool and other officials bade a formal farewell to the team amidst a ceremony at the Tripureshwor-based National Sports Council Friday.
