Nepathya set for month long live in concert after the elections

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: After the completion of the HoR and provincial general elections, Nepathya is set to start a month-long nationwide musical tour campaign ‘Music For Humanity Campaign’ this week from December 2 to December 31 by collaborating with a social organization 'Manavsewa Ashram'.

According to a statement issued by Nepalaya, Gurung, the lead singer and founder of Nepathya Band is planning to play his folk-rock tunes from the eastern corner of the country to the western corner. The place where the band will perform include Biratnagar (Hatkhola Maidan), Birjung (Adarshanagar Rangashala), Hetauda (Bhutan Devi School Ground), Narayanghat (Camp Chaur), Nepalgunj, Dhangadi (stadium), Surkhet, Butwal (Ramnagar Stadium), Pokhara (Exhibition Center) and Kathmandu (Bhrikuti Mandap).


Amrit Gurung said, "Now it is important that the whole society should become united again, which can happen with the help of music. According to Amrit Gurung, campaigns like ‘Sundar Shanta Nepal' and ‘Santi Ko Lagi Sikchya’ were launched by the band so as to connect the society even in the situation of armed conflict. Gurung said, “I am looking forward to see all the spectators dancing with the red flag with the symbol of sun and moon throughout our month-long journey.”
