Nepotism exposed in Bhangaha Municipality: Employees secure jobs for relatives

JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 31: Hiring employees within Bhangaha Municipality, Mahottari, has exposed instances of nepotism. The employees working in the municipality have secured positions for their wives and sisters-in-law.

JANAKPURDHAM, Jan 31: Hiring employees within Bhangaha Municipality, Mahottari, has exposed instances of nepotism. The employees working in the municipality have secured positions for their wives and sisters-in-law.


About four employees have been recruited from relatives to fill vacancies for five different contract positions in the municipality.

Sirjana Yadav, wife of acting Chief Administrative Officer Bijaya Yadav has been appointed as joint-coordinator of employment, Municipality Health Coordinator Raju Shah has hired his wife, Kalpana Mainali as lab assistant. Similarly, the sister-in-law of Municipality IT Officer Laxmi Raya and Chairman of ward-6, Rajisharan Yadav's niece Renu Kumari Yadav has been recruited for the position of ANM.
