KATHMANDU, April 3: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Wednesday declined marginally by 3.43 points to close at 2,006.78 points.
The market opened at 2,010.21 points and dropped to 2,006.04 points in the first 45 minutes of trading. The market successively inclined to the day’s high at 2,017.22 points in the next 45 minutes, while the index declined to the day’s low at 2,000.82 points before the last five minutes of the trading time.

The sensitive index that measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies lost 0.43 points. The daily turnover inclined to Rs 2.53 billion from Rs 2.29 billion on Tuesday.
Three groups had their market indices increased, while microfinance added the highest of 64.55 points. Out of the 10 losers, manufacturing and processing shed the highest of 121.61 points.
Among individual companies, 103 were recorded as gainers whereas 132 were the losers.
SuryaJyoti Life Insurance Company Limited had the largest transactions of its shares worth Rs 258.05 million. River Falls Power Limited lost the highest of 4.40 percent of its market price, while Gurans Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was recorded as the topmost gainer.
