KATHMANDU, Nov 16: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Wednesday increased by 13.40 points to close at 1,911.26 points.
The secondary market opened at 1,897.86 points and went through fluctuations in the intraday trading. Within a few minutes of the trading started, the market escalated to 1,905.59 points. The index dropped to 1,899.75 points before taking an upward graph again to hit the day’s high of 1,914.38 points.

The daily turnover was recorded at Rs 859.46 million, a decline from Rs 1.023 billion on the previous day. In the overall, 141 companies gained in their market prices while 38 companies’ shares prices dropped.
In Wednesday’s trading, 11 groups gained in the market value of their shares. Mutual fund and trading lost in their average share prices.
In individual companies, Ridi Power Company had the largest transaction of its shares worth Rs 60.33 million. Sikles Hydropower Limited was the topmost gainer while Janautthan Samudayic Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha lost the highest percent in its market price.
