NEPSE goes online

KATHMANDU, April 15:  The buyers and sellers now can order through the online system to buy and sell the secondary shares of the public companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE).

KATHMANDU, April 15:  The buyers and sellers now can order through the online system to buy and sell the secondary shares of the public companies listed on the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE). 


Chairman of Security Board of Nepal (SEBON) Dr Rewat Bahadur Karki marked the beginning of the online trading of shares at a program organized at Crystal Kanchanjungha Security Pvt Ltd on Sunday.

With the beginning of this system, the investors are not required to visit the brokers' offices to sell the shares in the secondary market. 


On the occasion, General Manager of Chandra Singh Saud said that the capital market has an immense potential in Nepal. 


Also speaking at the programme, the stakeholders and investors said that necessary attention was not paid to the development of the secondary share market and stressed the need for coordination among the regulatory bodies and concerned authorities. RSS
