KATHMANDU, June 29: Nepal Stock Exchange (Nepse) on Wednesday increased by 41.39 points after investors rushed to purchase shares at low prices after the market plunged in the past two days.
The secondary market that opened at 1,921.31 points went to as low as 1,915.44 points within a few minutes of the trading started for the day. However, the market took an upward pace in the rest of the trading hours to close at 1,962.71 points.

The entire 13 trading groups gained in their average share prices. Out of them, indices of six groups escalated three-digit points.
Along with a 2.15 percent gain in the Nepse index, the single-day turnover amount also increased to Rs 1.43 billion. The transaction amount stood at Rs 1.05 billion in the previous day.
Among individual companies, Ngadi Group Power Limited had the largest volume of its shares transaction worth Rs 54.27 million. Adhikhola Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited was the top gainer while Mailung Khola Jal Vidhyut Company Limited lost the largest percent in its share price.
